As of 2021, we decided to start having annual awards for students, to acknowledge students' efforts and achievements throughout the year. We also then display a poster with the award recipients at the studio, to acknowledge student achievement and to inspire other students😊✨🎶
Each teacher nominates students who they believe meet the criteria for an award, and then all the teachers discuss and decide as a group who will receive each award for that year.
The award recipients for the year are announced at the annual end of year Music Concert 🎶

Conscientious Award
This is awarded to 2 students, who consistently come to every lesson organised, prepared, and ready to learn. Most Improved
This is awarded to 2 students, who have showed significant improvement on their instrument, including playing or music reading abilities, and personal growth or confidence related to music/their instrument. |
Enthusiasm Award
This is awarded to 2 students, who always come to each lesson enthusiastic to play and learn, and are enthusiastic about music and their instrument. |

Strings Award
This is awarded to 1 student who demonstrates enthusiasm and dedication to their instrument. Strings includes Violin, Cello, Guitar and Piano. |
Woodwind & Brass Award
This is awarded to 1 student who demonstrates enthusiasm and dedication to their instrument. Woodwind & Brass includes Flute, Saxophone and Trumpet. |

3-Year Award
This award is for any students who have been learning their instrument with Amber’s Music Lessons for 3 years. |
5-Year Award
While we are yet to have a student achieve this award, this is for those who have been learning their instrument with Amber’s Music Lessons for 5 years. |
Practice Champion
This is awarded to 1 student, who consistently practises multiple times every week.

This is our most prestigious award, and is awarded to 1 student who essentially encapsulates what we encourage our students to be.
This is to recognise someone who:

⭐️ Is always enthusiastic about music and their instrument.
⭐️ Has high participation in events - e.g. concerts etc.
⭐️ Has regular attendance to lessons.
⭐️ Practices regularly.
